Participants will visit recent harvested, burned, and planted sites to learn more about the various operations going on in the Forest. Transportation through the Forest will be provided, but space will be limited to 25 participants.
Registration for this event will begin on Friday, May 16 at 12:00 pm, both online and by telephone. If you have any questions or ADA requirements, please call the office at (919) 613-8013.
Stream Watch
Join Stream Watch on Sunday, June 8, 2008 for the next New Hope Creek sampling date, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The group will meet at the Turkey Farm Road bridge (map). All sampling equipment will be provided.
Stream Watch is affiliated with the Division of Water Resources of the North Carolina Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources (DENR).
